Winner winner TACO dinner!!! This is my favorite guilty pleasure. Yes, Mercado Loco! Not only can I skip the market, but we can order lunch here, too! Mercado Loco has been located here for decades! They offer a market with canned food, fresh meat, fruit, vegetables, Mexican bread, cakes, snacks, drinks, and beer, with a kitchen to make kitchen specials. To walk around in here is a little tight, but they have so many amazing things inside this cozy shop. Attached is a tiny restaurant, but I haven't had the chance to see if it is still running. Yesterday, we ordered lunch of 3 carnitas and a torta loca. It was all ready in about 10 minutes. We also grabbed some doritos and a couple of drinks. We decided to sit on our car and indulge while it was hot... but not before the photo shoot. Today, the carnitas were soft, juicy, and very succulent. They had the perfect flavor. My future hubby's lunch has a full slice of steak, with onions and peppers that I got to taste. It was also delicious! We also got a couple chicharrones bc those things are always delicious! All together, 2 drinks, chips, 3 tacos, chicharrones and a torta came out to about $36ish and worth every penny!
